I heard today from the folks at Hengelkas that there is a petition going around regarding the poor state of the ablution facilities provided at the Krugersdrift Dam.

Those of you that have visited there previously may have noticed that the doors windows, toilets/taps etc have been vandalised a long time ago, and have yet not been fixed. This proves to be a popular Dam for Bloemfontein residents and yest the authorities claim that the facilities are in no need of repair because it is under utilised.

As soon as I have more information, I will update you.

hope we can get the required number of signatures asap. is the petition online, or is it available at Hengelkas? they should also consider doing something about the corrugated road. i just hate having to travel on it, especially considering the fact that i don't have a bakkie!

I am not sure about the progress with the petition. I will post an update tomorrow. I agree with you on the condition of the roads, It puts a lot of of potential visitors off from visiting the Dam
